Enterprise Zones will benefit from a new multi-billion pound investment package to drive economic growth, create local jobs and build thousands of homes.

As part of the Spending Round announcements made on 26 June 2013, government committed to increasing its support for growth and delivery within Enterprise Zones with an additional £50 million being made available for the Local Infrastructure Fund.

Further support may also be available through a £2 billion funding pot for local enterprise partnerships (LEPs). The fund will help to drive job creation and investment forward within the LEP areas, and includes £1 billion for transport and £500 million for skills and training. This funding builds on the billions of pounds already invested, and will include £400 million from the New Homes Bonus, locally pooled to support housing and local growth.
