Nottingham Enterprise Zone will benefit from a new business incubator focused on health and wellness, called MediCity.

MediCity is designed to provide innovative start-up and growing businesses in the health and wellness sector with fully serviced office and laboratory space.

Alliance Boots is collaborating with BioCity, the UK’s leading bioscience incubation company, to create the incubator.

In addition to the package of benefits available to all businesses that locate in an Enterprise Zone, MediCity will offer residents a wealth of specific expertise and support. BioCity can provide experience of successfully growing businesses in incubator environments and Alliance Boots can offer global healthcare sector expertise, such as access to innovation and product development knowledge and supply chain expertise.
