The Sheffield City Region Enterprise Zone is set for further development as it plans to build a number of ‘ready made’ business premises to keep up with demand.

The new units will vary in size from 10,000 square feet to 50,000 square feet, and will be developed by land owner Harworth Estates. 

Developers have entitled this exciting new venture “R-evolution @ the AMP”. This is seen this as the logical next step for the Sheffield City Region’s hugely successful ‘Advanced Manufacturing Park’. It is situated within easy access to Sheffield Parkway and Junction 33 of M1, and is already home to world class research and manufacturing organisations including Boeing and Rolls Royce.

Chris Scholey, Local Enterprise Partnership Board Member and Chair of the Sheffield City Region Enterprise Zone Governance Board, said:

“Industrial units on the Sheffield City Region Enterprise Zone are in extremely high demand. I’d recommend that Modern Manufacturing and Technology businesses move quickly if they want to be part of the Advanced Manufacturing Park, which is already home to world-class organisations including Boeing and Rolls-Royce.”

The Sheffield City Region’s Enterprise Zone was recently recognised by the Financial Times fDi magazine as the number 1 in the UK for modern manufacturing and technology.
