New tenants moved into Sandwich’s Discovery Park this week as the Enterprise Zone continues to welcome businesses from the UK and overseas. Investaco and Alliance Business Communications Limited have both opened offices on the 220-acre site, taking the total number of businesses on site to 36.

Investaco are independent financial advisors specialising in estate planning and wills. They are expanding and looking to further boost their team immediately.

Telecommunications company Alliance Business Communications Limited has now moved its entire sales operations to Discovery Park. Set up in 2004, the company already employs 32 people across three sites in the UK and Russia.

And in a sign of increased confidence in the Kent, two current tenants at Discovery Park – FosterCare UK and Vital Software – have expanded their operations in little over four months and have moved to larger offices on site.

This is great news for the Enterprise Zone and shows clearly that the benefits of the Enterprise Zone are bearing fruit in Kent.
