Science Vale Enterprise Zone announced a £15million new office development at MEPC’s Milton Park along with the expectation of up to 500 new jobs.

Communities Secretary Eric Pickles said:

“Economic growth is this government’s top priority and Enterprise Zones are the engine room of that strategy. They are a fantastic way to attract the jobs and business investment that local areas need. MEPC is showing that is true in the Science Vale Enterprise Zone by starting construction of its largest office development at Milton Park for over 10 years – soit is a really important step that will create 500 new local jobs.”

The 101 and 102 Park Drive development will be Oxfordshire’s only new Grade A office accommodation. Surrounded by 2,000 trees in 300 acres of landscaped grounds, these offices will be designed and built to the best modern standard, offering minimal environmental impact and the lowest running costs.

The business estate already includes 220 companies employing 6,500 staff.

Andrew Barlow, Commercial Director for MEPC Milton Park, added:

“Milton Park, with its Enterprise Zone status, offers strongly competitive benefits such as business rates relief, a successful and growing local economy and proximity to one of the world’s leading universities. MEPC’s supportive ethos delivers an industry beating 90% tenant retention rate, thanks to a flexible approach and an extensive range of customer amenities.”
