A vibrant city quarter with rapidly growing clusters of businesses in the creative, digital and hi-tech sectors
As one of the UK’s largest urban regeneration projects, Bristol Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone offers more than 240,000 square metres of accommodation for commercial, residential, retail and leisure use.
The zone is home to several unique spaces where small, innovative businesses can thrive and grow: Paintworks, Temple Studios and Engine Shed are three key examples. The mix is diverse, from micro-electronics companies to media and digital production companies to animators, accountants and consultants.
A cultural hotspot:
The zone is set in the heart of one of the most historically inventive cities in the UK: a vibrant, dynamic city that boasts a mix of internationally-acclaimed cultural institutions, world-class festivals and events and a diverse mix of shops and markets.
An enviable talent pool:
Home to two prestigious universities, Bristol boasts one of the highest levels of graduate retention anywhere in the country. It also offers the most competitive and productive economy of any large English city outside of London and access to an available workforce of 600,000.
A world-class 12,000 capacity arena is due to open in the zone in 2018. It will transform a previously derelict brownfield site and form the core of the city’s new creative and entertainment hub.
